Summer Learning

This past week, the kids have hung over my shoulder and gotten their hands on things as I:
  • Use CoolEdit to arrange and record a song
  • Use WORDsearch to locate verses and scrapbook them
  • Make a list of sci-fi short stories I'm working on
  • Go to my Dad's for a hands-on lesson in traditional bricklaying
Photos and explanations to follow, whenever I get time. Sometimes I think we learn more in the summer.

Mine have spent the week at the pond and when not at the pond (fishing, swimming, berry picking) they have been using scratch (scratch.mit.edu) to develop programs that actually work. Scratch is AWESOME!
